Wild Rose Landscape & Garden Design Process

Prior to Claudia's first visit to your garden, she will send you a questionnaire which will help focus the discussion. She spends, at no charge, 1 to 1-1/2 hours with you discussing what services you need and how she can fulfill those needs.

If you decide to work with Claudia on your complete garden design, she will help you decide whether you need a scale drawing or a schematic (without exact measurements) and will collect extensive data about your family and life style, the intended uses of the garden, your style preferences and your plant likes and dislikes.

Depending upon your needs, the design process will then move through some, if not all, of the following stages:

• Measuring and recording site details
• Photographing the existing spaces
• Development of a Base Plan
• Development of a Preliminary Landscape Plan
• Presentation and discussion of Preliminary Plan
• Development of irrigation and/or lighting plans
• Development of the plant list
• Drawing the Final Landscape plan
• Refer you to experts in installation, irrigation, stonework and concrete
